Hi, I just downloaded this app. :) Y'all can call me Katie. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in April of 2009. I am currently on the one touch ping pump. I am really wanting the omnipod. If you went from one to the other or you have the omnipod I would love to hear about your experience with it and the pros and cons. :)

I have that problem and I get a LOT of occlusion errors. I also don't wear pants. I wear skirts and dresses and have to usually wear shorts underneath. Which is annoying and ads bulk. So the pod would be so nice. Also are freestyle strips cheaper or more expensive? @DrJohn

I went from the One Touch Ping to the Omnipod. With the One Touch, I was constantly getting the tubing caught and often ripped out of me. With the Omnipod, there is no tubing. Other than they both work the same.
