Has anyone noticed a difference in their glucose levels as far as 10 minutes after they wake up to a half hour later? I tested at 10 mmol (180 mg/dl) at 830ish this morning, but was down to around 7 mmol (120 mg /dl) a half hour later. This seems like a pretty big change for a half hour. Has anyone else seen this or does anyone know of a reason this would happen?

Thaks Gabby! I noticed yesterday morning a drop of around 6 mmol (about 100 mg/dl) without doing anything about it. I'm going to use that as a starting point in the morning to adjust my correction dosages. I'm wondering if there may be a few different reasons why I'm having so many lows…

My morning starts high and then I go down during the day. Our bodies give us a little assistance to "wake up" so that is why often we are a little higher than usual. Not everyone has dawn phenomenon, but many of us do.
