I have asked my dr during my last apt she only said to eat more which i have been for example my dinner was 30 carbs i had beef meatballs with tomato sauce and low carb cheese had mixed nuts carrots with light ranch and blueberries and after two hours my blood sugar read 84,85,86 ( i checked 3 times) my blood sugar before i started to eat was 93 i have been struggling to even get my bs to reach 100 when i was first told i had type 2 i would walk and hour ever day and some days even more but all of a sudden my bs lvl lowered where i cant i have to check my bs lvl almost ever hour and most of the time i will be in my low 80's or lower i have requested to see an endo but my dr keeps delaying by wanting to run other tests. How do you feel when your blood sugar is in the 80's? According to the American Diabetes Association a low blood sugar is less than 70, and your numbers are in the normal range. There is more information here: Perhaps you can schedule a follow-up appointment with the dietitian to discuss this with her, and get suggestions for your meals? ~Lynn @Glucerna

I really feel for you! Keep talking with your physician and also call the dietitian you met with earlier so they can figure out what's going on. ~Lynn @Glucerna
