Just coming off the heals of trying to find a lawyer to help me with a suite against my husband's doctor, all I can say is keep looking and good luck. You only have 2 years to file and the fist thing you need to do is get all of your medical records from the stay he had in the hospital. From entry to discarge and any doctors that visited him off the hospital grounds.

Most lawyers don't want to touch a case that will not bring them in large amounts of money due to permanent injury. Proving diabetes is a hard row to tow, and I rather imagine it will be hard to find one.

As in my husband's case, they basically told me that since he didn't suffer any lasting effects of almost being killed by his doctor, they didn't want to sue. All we wanted to do was get the bills paid, we were not even seeking damages.

I have not seen any TV ads against Abilify, but that would be where I would start. If a law firm is part of some of the other "drug suites" then maybe call them to ask them. You can go on line as well.

Howdy thurdon

I am sorry to hear you've been injured by a medication. I have seen lawyers advertising on TV about abilify damages.

Nonetheless this site is a place to talk about what some medications have done to us, among other things, but i sincerely doubt that this is the place to look for legal help or to recruit others to assist with a medication lawsuit.

I have reported this to the tech people and told them I believe that this posting is in violation of DC's terms of use (to which you agreed when you signed up to use this site). i know for sure that the posting of contact info in the discussion violates the TOU. Also the possibility of getting a settlement may be violating the TOU also.

I guess in a day or two, if this discussion disappears we'll know that this is not the place for such recruitment.

You can complain about the Medication all you want, and you may get some folks to agree with you, but IMHO recruiting folks for a lawsuit is pushing the limits.

If you find a member here who has been injured here on DC, you can "friend" them and then discuss legal matters on the private mail here.
