Low carb ice cream

Hey guys! I'm on a hunt for low carb/ sugar free ice cream! If you find any low carb ice cream near Dalton GA please reply!

I am right there with haloeboy. I eat Bluebell Homemade Vanilla with some nuts on top. The real key is the portion. 1/2 cup is 1/2 cup. Skip the cone and there you go. There is enough fat in the real ice cream to help curb the spike and adding nuts helps too. I don't eat the loaded ice cream flavors. All the extra ingredients in it push the sugar content way over.

I have tried a lot of the no sugar added varieties, but really don't like the taste or the texture. So I stick to the real stuff. The cool thing with the Bluebell ice cream is you can get them in 1/2 cup serving cups. It costs more, but if portion is an issues (as it is with me) it is a very helpful way to be sure.

I buy Bluebunny, or Eddy's No Sugar Added and have not noticed a change in taste of flavor. They sell that everywhere. All you have to do is look and read the labels. As Steve said the carbs are a little different but I eat it all the time.

Most every major brand of ice cream makes either a 'carb friendly' or 'low carb' version of their ice cream … whether you want to eat it is up to you. Personally I would opt for the 'full carb' version as the difference in carbs is minimal, difference in taste huge … not to mention the artificial sweetners and sugar alcohols.
Either way watch your portion size
