If you go in the candy aisle (a very scary place) there is usually a section of sugar free candies. That being said, sugar free doesn't mean you can eat as many as you want. You still have to read the labels. The other thing is with sugar free candies, many people cannot eat much as it give the tummy some trouble. If I do eat sugar free candies, I tend to like the hard candies such as Werthers.

So here is what I do. I get very high cocoa content chocolate bars. Usually 70% or higher. I get a little sweet, very low carb. Sometimes I put a little peanut butter on it. It can be an acquired taste, as it's not really sweet. But it hits the spot for me.

Just because it says sugar free doesn't mean it is sugar free always check the Carbs on the package that will tell you if it is truly sugar free if there are carbs listed it is not sugar free, I learned that the hard way.

Plus some sugar alcohols like malitol have almost as big a carb footprint as those with real sugar. and sugar doesn't give you stomach issues.
