Exercise and BG Drop

I've joined a Diabetic First Step Program, introducing us to weight training, stretches and 30 mins of cardio. I've been going since June 28th. Today I checked by fasting BG before I exercised and it w as 196.2 and after my work out, with sweat pouring down my BG only went down to 167.411
Normally I drop by 50 or 60 mmgs! I did not eat breakfast, I don't normally eat it when I'm on holidays.
What happened?

Your liver might have helped out. If you didn't eat before your exercise perhaps you dropped a little lower than usual and your live may have released some sugar for you to avoid a low. Hard to tell without testing in the middle, but that could have been.
