I am so excited. I went to the Dr. yesterday. He cut my meds in half and I am down 35#!!!! My goal of getting off some of my meds is happening! I realize it may be temporary because diabetes is a progressive disease but for now…I AM WELL CONTROLLED!!!!!

I love to hear success stories! Would love to hear more about how you did it.

Lots of activity. At least 30min. a day and cut carbs. I've had bad days but that's OK. I don't get too upset about it. Just start over asap.

Not sure why but the Dr. do not check my A1c. I wish he would have because I am curious how far it dropped. He doesn't want to see me for 6 months unless something changes. Thanks to everyone on here, I asked lots of questions. He told me that was good because a person cannot be too informed.
