I have been on 4 cruises, 3 differnet ships, 2 different cruise lines. We (My wife and I) last night decided to do antoher cruise this year. I have read up on traveling and diabetes. I have never had to go on an airline with my kit and supplies before. Any advice? I know the TSA now does not allow liquids and other regulations. Its been a while. Any insight that I should know about before I go? Its not till September so I still have a while to plan.

Hey Sarg,

My husband and I went to Australia this past June. I had my doctor write me a letter stating that I am a diabetic and what medications I am on. I put my byetta in a thermos which I carried in my purse along with my testing supplies. I had an empty water bottle that I put my test strips and used needles in. I was able to get through airport security and customs with no problems.
