Been doing walking for 13 years. At least 2 miles, 4 times a week. It works and you feel better along with lower numbers. This last winter kept me off the walk, but next winter will be different. We bought an used treadmill. It works!!! Good for all that do it. Keep good shoes on.

Every time I try to start exercising some thing comes up. First a bone spur in my right knee now a bone spur near my achilles area.

I got myself a Fitbit. it keeps track of your steps and sleep and eve had a glucose section. I walk around 2miles a day about 4,000 or more.

Walking is a nice type of exercise in that it is providing optimum exertion to the heart muscles. But too much of walking , to me had been harmful. Also try to keep normal pace, even if time duration is a bit high.
