My unsweetened Almond milk is delicious in Coffee. Its 2 carbs per 8 oz cup. So if you use an oz. Do the math. Maybe .25 or 1/4 carb per oz? Unsweetened is hard to find (Trader Joes).

Try Natural Almond milk vs Vanilla flavored. You can find it anywhere. Its 8 Carbs per 8oz. So 1 Carb per oz that you would use. It gives your coffee a flavored cappuccino coffee taste too. It has 0 cholesterol, 0 trans fats and 0 saturated fat. It has protein, vitamins and potassium. Many powered creamers are high in fats, not to mention cream itself!

I use heavy whipping cream( suggested by Atkins) .The powered stuff contains corn syrup which isn't good for any one, diabetic or not. If you are a heavy coffee/tea /soda drinker the corn syrup may elevate your bs. Pete

We buy Coffee-Mate and they have some of the flavors in Sugar and Fat free. And the 'sugar-free' is for the most part, anywhere from 0-2 carbs per serving.

There is nothing wrong with using a couple of teaspoons of heavy cream to lighten your coffee. Just make sure that the carton says ingredients: cream! Some brands actually make heavy cream by adding junk to milk!

I am sorry, but I am of no help to you. I do not drink coffee, so I don't buy creamer. Have you asked anyone at your dr's office about where to buy some, or maybe someone at the grocery store where you shop? Just a suggestion. You might go to the dLife web site and find some information, or to WebMD.
