I "dug" around on the internet this morning and came up with another product which might be of help. The link above will take you to the website.

I am going to order some and will let you know how it goes. Thanks, Kathy

So, the EPIC Xylitol gum has arrived (I ordered spearmint). It works well. I ran across a stash of 7 pieces of Biotene. I cannot bear to chew a piece because I miss it so much! Crazy, aren't I ?

Xylitol is a sugar alcohol (usually, any ingredient ending in "ol" is a sugar alcohol; e.g maltitol, sorbitol) which is used in many "sugar-free" products. Taking too much sugar alcohols can have uncomfortable, laxative and flatulent effects. I also read that Xylitol can be toxic to dogs. Just be careful.
