Since I learned that I am diabetic, I have begun a blog directed at long haul truckers who have diabetes. It's new and short, but it's a start.

I updated the blog today. I started with a gripe about Splenda ice creams and my own inability to read a label, then did a write up about a doctor written report that just ticked me off! Comments appreciated as always!

Nice blog. I a in the warehousing industry and deal with truckers all day long. Good friend of mine, T2, but taking insulin, the state pulled his license. Even though at the hearing, His doctor came forward and stated (via a letter) that he was under good control and felt he had no issues to drive. My doctor has told me not to inform DMV that I am diabetic untill he tells me its time to inform them. Had another friend who had a hazzard material added to his license, but had to remove it so that he wouldnt have to pass the phyical for that. Its hard on drivers. My hat is off to drivers who can still drive.
