I allowed myself to live like a regular person instead of like a diabetic and I ate and drank all sorts of great foods this weekend. My fasting bs was 224 this morning! Okay, I'm getting back on track now. Oh, but it was so good to feel normal for a bit.

I am a regular and normal person. I just happen to be a person with diabetes. I ate chocolate chip cookies and ice cream. Then walked with my neighbor to the store. Blood sugar never moved. The store was 3 blocks away round trip we walked six blocks. I never view it as falling off the wagon. I test before having a treat. If my numbers are between 90 and 100 I have the treat. If not I don't eat it. I will never eat something that I consider a treat if my blood sugar is at 120. I always walk or do something active after eating it. My blood sugar has never been over 180 since i got under control.

Glad you enjoyed the weekend and are now back on track.

I live pretty normal eating and drinking what I like, after looking around the app I'm beginning to worry I'm doing something wrong, I'm type 1 on a pump and carb count every thing that passes my lips. Am I doing something wrong?

I think we all deserve to fall off the wagon sometimes during our life as long as we get back to where we should be at with our diabetes. I agree with u that being normal for a bit is a nice feeling;-)
