I HAVE BOTH OF YOUR PROBLEMS BUT THEY HAVE PUT IN 4 STINTS TO OPEN UP THE HEART, I HAVE HAD A TRIPLE BYPASS AN NOW THOSE ARE PLUGGED UP AN THEY HAVE PUT ME ON PLAVIX WHICH HELPS KEEP THE BLOOD FLOWING, ALSO A 325MG ASPIRIN A DAY, THEY HAVE TOLD ME JUST TO WATCH AN SEE WHEN I PUNCH MY FINGER THAT IT STOPS FLOWING, THAT SAYS YOU BLOOD IS STILL GOOD IF IT DOESNT STOP THEN YOUR BLOOD IT TO THIN AN YOU NEED TO REDUCE YOUR MEDS. THIS IS WHAT THE HEART DOC HAS TO SAY AN IT WORKS…

This depends on what your sugars are running and how much activity you do. I wouldn't recommend a lot of activity with only one artery open as it could cause chest pain and more problems.

Are you unable to have a stent placed, or even bypass? I think it's probably more a problem with your heart as you probably don't perfuse blood well to all parts of the body, unless you have a good collateral system in place.
If you continue to feel this way talk to you doctor(s). They need to be aware of how you are feeling.

I feel tired most of the time, but I tend to blame my students instead of the diabetes. I've been lucky so far and had the opportunity to go home for a nap when the tiredness became excessive. Hang in there, ok?

Yes Diabeties can make you tired, there are times I sit down to watch a movie and
when I wake up the movie is over. As for your heart problem I will be praying for you. Just make sure you don't over do it.

I'm so sorry you are in this condition. yes, both will do that. I can only talk about the diabetes part. For at least two years, before diagnosis, I was 'tired' when I knew I shouldn't be. I just chalked it up to getting around age 40 and not exercising, and hormones, things like that. I think when a person comes off so much sugar, it can make you tired too. I hope you have talked to your doctor. Surely there is something that can help. God bless you

My reply just got erased somehow ?? Anyway what I said to was Iam sorry for what you are going through and is there something else they can do for your heart?? I was going to bring up the same topic about being so tired. I have not been able to keep my eyes open and thought maybe it was my sugar but it has been pretty good. I was also wondering about my heart. I have a friend who is type 1 and she is going in for a stent next week and I know she has been real tired latley. I hope you find some help soon good luck to you ,and let me know how you make out.
hugs dyanne

Hi and so sorry you're feeling so bad. I'm sure it's a combination of both. The diabetes part I know will make you tired. My dad had heart surgery a few weeks ago and he was exhausted and he's not diabetic. Please see your doctor. After his surgery, he's feeling great again. I will be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers! Get well, Angie

God bless you! My grandmother had the same problems with her heart about 2 years ago. They finally went back in to do a graft. She was just exhausted and she doesn't have Diabetes on top of that! Unfortunately both can make you extremely tired and any activity seems to make you even worse off. I hope you will find some answers soon. Will add you to my prayer list.

I have to wonder if you've discussed this with your doctor and what he/she says. That would be my source, first and foremost. Do you have surgery scheduled? Diabetes definitely can drain the energy from you, especially if not well controlled - even moreso when you have additional health issues.

I had had a triple By pass 3 years ago
but clogged up again,,they got 1 artery working with a stent,,so I only have the 1 artery running.

I'm sure you must stay tired, under the circumstances. You really don't need to be doing anything too strenuous or exhaustive. God bless you as you deal with this.
