Has anyone used whipped oil for severe dry skin? My nurse told me about it and said it worked but I cannot find it she said that I can get it at walmart but still havent found it yet. Does anyone know where i can get it and what it cost?

Coconut oil works great!!! A little dab will do ya!! And it smells great. I use it after my shower each day. If you have a Trader Joe's near you, they have it. If you melt it, it is great for cooking. If you leave it solid, it is great for eating or applying to your skin.

Tried the Dove and worked OK but something in it…probably the perfume made me break out, not too bad but just enough that I ended up giving to my neice. She loves it. I use Jergens brand. They have one that is free of dyes and perfumes but just soaks into the skin. Between the 2 of us Mom and I go through a full bottle every 2weeks. I've also gotten some stuff from the Medical supply warehouse called Carezz. It's used in nursing homes to cure bed sores and works great on cracked heels. Has a weird odor though so I only use when I have to.

I found the tube of Ca-Rezz Cream. It has both the Stearic Acid and Imidazolidinyl Urea along with a lot of other ingredients I can't pronounce.lol I found it at the local medical supply warehouse when we were looking for a walker for Mom.It's made by FNC Medical corporation in CA. There's even a number to call on the tube 1-800-440-2888. Hope this helps. It really does work wonders and the smell is not really bad I just have a sensitivity to most smells.

I found Creamy Baby Oil at a dollar store called Deals. It's made by Angel of Mine. It has Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. It seems to be working fine, but I just got it today.

It was difficult to find much information on whipped oil lotion. However check out the site moodszdesignzinc.com and see what you can find. They do advertise whipped lotion and whipped Vaseline. Most of what I searched resulted in finding whipped lotion, but not whopped oil lotion. I don't know if it's the same thing or not.

Interesting though. I would love to know more.

Your welcome, when you get that from your nurse, let us know the name of it please, I'm curious now too since Avon was all I could find that made any sort of whipped oil lotion.

Well, at least you figured it out. I think I have a bottle of every lotion ever made and I didn't have that one! Some people buy shoes, I buy lotion, lol. Let us know how it works. The best I've found over the counter is Curel, Nourishing for extra dry skin with honey, vanilla and shea butter extracts. It smells like heaven and it will stay with you for a full 24 hours. I had a horrible rash when I was diagnosed with diabetes and extra dry skin and this stuff cleared it up within 2 days. It's hard to find, very popular, I went to 5 stores to get this exact type. Good luck hun, Angie

The only whipped oil I know about is put out by Avon and its called PLANET SPA Mediterranean Olive Oil Whipped Body Cream and their Skin-So-Soft whipped body oil. Hope this helps.

I am a lotion nut and I have never heard of this one. Is it just called whipped oil or is there another name for it? Good luck, Angie

Haven't seeen or heard of it. I too would be interested in know if that is the brand name or if that's a type of oil that's out now and carried under various brand names. Wonder what the special benefit is? Can you whip your own oil at home? Interesting.

All the nurse told me was that it's whipped oil. She said it's oil but whipped into a lotion type. But she didn't say what its actually called. She said to look at walmart and she said there is a Johnson and Johnson brand but she said to ask the pharmacy about it or look in the lotion aisle. I'm going to my 24hr walmart tonight and I'm going to look for it. Shde said it will help with my severe dry skin on my hands and feet. I was just told I have eczema. And that it's not greasy like plain baby oil.
