I have been busy the last several months. We have gone camping at the beach twice since xmas. We just got back Thursday night after staying a week. We have a camper set up in a campground and all we have to do is unlock the door and go in. We go every month and when it gets warmer we will stay 2 weeks at a time. I am 66 years old. My diabetes is under control. Medication. I also have a problem with my blood clotting. I have had blood clots 2 times in my lungs. I have to have my blood checked every month. Things i can eat for keeping my sugar down (salads) i cannot eat because of the coumadin i have to take. I leave the house woth my glucometer and my medication.

Hi I had a pulminary embolism a few years ago and I was taking coumadin for about 6 months and then they took me off of it cuz I was doing good on a very low dose and they let me try going without it for awhile and my tests showed that I didn't need it anymore. I had a filter put in my lungs. How about u ? What did they do for the blood clot at that time?

Hello,
My significant other has pulmonary embolism also. He had a blood clot in both lungs the size of baseballs. He is my miricle…
These are serious health issues. I am glad that you are still taking a bite out of life. You serve as a role model for many including myself… It is so easy to get boggled down with our health that I know I sometimes forget to stop and smell the roses.
Thank you for sharing.
Your Friend, Leigh
