You all know I am not a techie, but I found this very cool. It's called iHealth Align and it's an app and a meter that uses your phones as your meter. You plug it into your headphone jack on the phone and it will track up to 90 days if you want. It also keeps track of your test strips and tells you when you are running out. Can remind you to take your meds and more.

It's also cost effective! $17 for the meter and 50 strips are $12.50. (take that Walmart) While available online at the link above, it will soon also be available at You do have to have an iphone or an Android to use it, but it makes that phone have yet another advantage to having it around.

This is really cool. But I have already been using the world’s first personalized smart glucose meter and it's an all-in-one smart meter.

Try it for yourself!

That sounds great, now we have to talk diabetic connect to start supporting apps again then we would have two great apps to help us out

This looks pretty good. Am looking forward to see if the iWatch will, in fact, be a continuous glucose monitor without pricking the skin. May try this in the interim.

Sure would be nice if test strips were standardized, I think this is great, just will not work for me because I get my strips free. Thanks again for sharing Gabby.
