I listen to all kinds of music. Everything from heavy metal to classical and everything in between. I was know as "Radio Boy" when I was a teenager because I carried around one of the first portable radios. It was a blue plastic G.E. that took a 45 volt battery!

I listen to music all the time. If I'm at the computer I have headphones on listening to my self made radio station on the net. I have music in the car, in the living room… everywhere!!!!

If I'm having a bad day, putting on my favorite 'crooner' music calms me down right away and makes me happy!

Love using music for everything. I also use the guided meditations for when I am having a hard day I just stick on the headphones and take me away. But Cleaning has to be with music.

Most definately. Music has been a solace for me for years. I even played music when my kids were young and having a bad day etc. We would all then sing and dance and it made the moment lighter and easier to accept. It clears ones head and gives you time to think. It's much easier to handle the stress and work it out in a better more thoughtful fashion. Now that my kids are grown and on their own they have all told me that music is the first thing they go to when the chips are down.

I like Chicago, Maynard Ferguson, and Disney Movie Soundtracks (the harmonies are outstanding which makes them easy to sing along with).

What instrument do you play, the triangle? LOL I hope you don't sing cause I think that would hurt Grover's ears and get the other dogs to howling!!!! LOL

You don't know the half of it. I played just about anything brass with trumpet being my forte, and the bagpipes. I have sung professionally too. The dogs really don't appreciate the bagpipes at all. They think it is some strange screaming beast trying to eat me. Come to think of it, I do too.

You really have to be comfortably seated in the neighbors living room with all of the windows closed to appreciate the bagpipes being played in my living room.

What can I say…it was a living.

Actually, I love hearing someone play actual bagpipes, as long as they are being played well. Of course, I have always thought you were full of hot air. I don't think I would want to hear those bagpipes!!! LOL

I'm the same way. Floyd helps takes my mind away from the stress, and Led Zep lifts my spirits

My favorite Floyd song, if I had to choose one would be 'Mother'. How bout yours? And Zeppelin, well that would be 'Boogie With Stu'

It was a toss up between Mother and Wish You Were Here! Makes me think of my Mom.

I don't know that I intentionally use music, but I always have the radio or tv going for noise 24/7. Certain songs do probably soothe stress for me but I don't think I realize it at the time, I'm just suddenly not as stressed after certain songs or genre's of music.
