its hard keeping up with your blood sugar testing when i cant even afford buying test strips they are so expensive and when you have to test several times a day it makes it even harder. i was told i can get them covered by my insurance but i dont know how to do that.

getting covered by insurance can be a difficult thing and that's if you can even afford insurance. with the prices of teest strips getting more and more expensive its really taking a toll on my wallet. I did find a site that seems to have incredible pricing on glucose test strips and I ordered from them last week and received my package just 3 days later. I was impressed and will be a customer of theirs for life. for anyone curious here is the link.. https://www.ydssupplier.com/collections/test-...

A great source for the cheapest diabetic test strips is http://www.yourdiabeticsupplier.com, they are hands down the most helpful team of professionals and offer the lowest prices on diabetic supplies like test strips, glucose meters and lancets. They also have great skin care products at affordable prices. Hope this helps.

I went and I got the reli-on meter at Walmart, I do not know how I over-looked that price when I bought mine. lol.

you can get covered by going to your doctor and asking. When I got my diagnosis, my doc just put me on a prescription for the strips and lancets and gave me a One Touch Ultra-mini meter. But at that time, my strips were $30 for a 3 month or so, supply, which was great. then when my insurance changed a few years later, they were $30 a month! So now I don't use the prescription, I went and got a Tru Result meter and I pay only $9 for 50 at my local pharmacy. The meter was less than $20.
