I have been a type 1 d for 50 years with a long history of back problems. I broke my back 40 years ago after numerous surgeries 8 and no relief. I did the pain meds routine and got no where. After years of morphine I told my Dr. I was going to try Cannibis and He said try it, I was taking 240 mg of time release and up to 4 15 Mg. Fast acting for break through pain. I could not hold my Grand kids for fear of nodding out and dropping one of the babies.
I am happy to say that I cut the pain meds by half and do not need to take mood elevators for stress and I am a much happier camper. It also helps on days where have no appetite. I use edibles much better for my COD

Thank you Katiespace
I live in California and have a prescription which is renewed every year, I just feel sorry for the people who may want to explore this type of treatment and do not live in a state that supports Medical cannibus.
It may not be for every one but the less pain meds the better for my body and liver

I used to self-medicate … the stress relief was significant but the munchie side effect was an issue so been off that med for quite a while.

That is a problem for some but if you go in prepared it helps for the munchie effect have low carb or no carb things to eat. Like me I don't smoke I make cooking oil and butter or a tincture and it has a different effect on the body than smoking has at least for me.

It works for you and that is great. Being a type 2, I just bubble along and would not know I was a diabetic except for blood letting at the end of the day. I do ok, 100 or less. Hang in there Grimpy!
