I take Lyrica and I exercise. Both seem to be working. Ask your doctor for suggestions. There are certain foods to avoid if it is really bad, but I do not remember what they are. Do some research on here or Web Md or Dlife. I always research before going to the doctor. Some one told me that taking Vitamin E capsules do work sometime. But check with Dr. first.

I take gabapentin 300 mgs three times a day. I also take tylenol arthritis at night if my leggs are hurting real bad. I have run cool water on them when nothing else worked. I would start by asking my doctor for something. I hear lyricia is good. My ins.pays for the gabapentin so that is what I use.I hope this helps you out.

Bluebutterfly, I take Lyrica for neuropathy in my legs and arms. It deffinately helps a bunch. At first my insurance turned it down but my pain doc called and submitted reasons for using it over other drugs. Once he did that they authorized it. I have Anthem b/c b/s as my provider. Maybe if your doc submitted a request it would help.
