I had gotten diabetes years ago when my sight got blurry, the first eye doctor wanted me to get glasses but my brother in law who's an eye doctor in Louisiana, Told me don't get glasses until my sugars were under control. He was right my eye sight came back, but I didn't trust my local eye doctor. So it's been several years till I got to go down & see my brother in law & I asked him to check my eyes, I had my first dilated exam, He said my veins look good, He pulled up images of his eyes & his wife's eyes & showed me how the veins get crooked & kinked he showed me some that were affected by high blood pressure.
Mine are fine. My aunt went blind from diabetes so I was curious how I was doing. I learned alot & it's a relief
