HEY GUYS WE DID 2 MILES THIS MORNING GETTING BETTER WE ARE ENJOY WALKING TOGETHER KEEP CHEERING FOR US HAVE GREAT WEEKEND!!!

That's great, I do a lot of walking through out the day on my job, but it's not like a good walk to get your heart rate going, but least it's walking though.

Yes I did research some diabetic smoothies. Will try coconut milk and some fruit and kale.

Good job! I've been walking with my husband for quiet some time now and we're up to almost 5 miles. I did take a nasty spill last Sunday, tripped over a paver stone and fell in someones driveway, smashed my elbow and knee pretty badly. Haven't walked since then but we just joined the town pool so we'll be swimming soon. Keep up the good work, walking is great exercise and a wonderful stress reliever, not to mention the time it gives you to talk to each other with no interuptions.

Hello msann, I did not know about your leg pain, but it is good to hear that you are walking, and improving. I had a lot of pain last year and my right knee was replaced in Sept. My other knee will be replaced in Sept, this year. It sure does make a big difference. I am walking much better too, like you.

Keep on walking, it is so good for us!!

actually I have given up reporting that Baba ji spam yesterday. One appears nearly as soon as the last one is posted. I pray that those folks who are doing that will eventually get shut down. Maybe God will drop a piano on them. LoL!

Does anyone know of good smoothies for us. I am doing pool zumba. It's tough but definitely good.

I have a single smoothie recipe that I use but would appreciate more that don't use too much fruit.

My recipe calls for banana, peanut butter, cottage cheese or plain (unsweetened) Greek Yogurt, unsweetened choco almond milk and sweeten with stevia to taste. Sometimes I add some extra cocoa.

you can find tons of smoothie recipes online, just do a little research. I make smoothies frequently but never use dairy, it will destroy your bones!

Good job! In the summer I love to add swimming to my agenda. Just walking in the water increases the resistance and makes the exercise even better for me.
