Here's a link on improving our A1c's that I got from the Medtronic Minimed Ambassador's site that I thought informative and helpful. I hope you do too.

I like the self-efficacy part. I don't feel any extra stress (other than insurance issues). It is often inconvenient but it doesn't impact my social life.

Thank you Gabby for the site, I am always glad to see more research for us diabetics.
I take a cinnamon capsule twice a day. I started taking it on my own after reading up on it. I also used to take Napol cactus capsules but it's harder to find the Napol where I live now so I haven't took it in a while. After I took them for a while my BS leveled out, of course along with metformin, diet and exercise. But I also agree that I believe it helped. The doctor I had then called me his miracle patient because I was able to level out my BS so quick.

Every bit of good info is helpful! I do use cinnamon, and although I can't say how much it helps, I believe it does. My bg readings seem to be somewhat lower when I use it. I have used cinnamon for quite a few years, and the results seem consistent. I believe that good bg management is within almost everyones reach. It's really a matter of learning how and what each individual needs to do!

Thanks for the link Type1Lou, my doctor is not very forthcoming on these things until I get problems!
It's so nice to feel empowered :)
