I don't have heart disease, thank God, but I did wear red today. I have several aunts and uncles who have died from this. Thanks for reminding of the various things you should have checked. This is good information for me as I am still learning! Thanks again, Angie

My mother died of a heart attack at age 69. I'm taking the steps so that doesn't happen to me. I never smoked and that's a plus. Having diabetes has actually helped me live a healthier life style.

I have heart disease and so does my husband, and it just so happens my favorite color is red;

I forget exactly why this day is honored; isn't it for women fighting heart disease?

Duh, I guess I can't win. Go For Woman.

I feel everyone should talk to there MD about having a complete check-up. You shouldn't just know your blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol(including LDL and HDL) and triglyceride levels. Your MD should explain to you exactly what those numbers mean whether they're high, low or just right.If anything is out of whack, your MD should help you figure out how to improve this through diet, exercise, stress reduction or taking medcation if needed. Diabetics should take this into consideration while at their next MD visit…Debe
