I have been taking this since December, 2007. This pen is easy to use and it helps to control blood sugar by slowing down the sugar absorption rate. It is given subcutaneously like Insulin. The only side effect is constipation, which can be severe at times. Make certain you take a regular laxative, like Miralax, while using this.

Thanks so much for posting this on the site. Have you added it to the Product Review section?

I think it might get buried over time here on the discussion board. But in Product Review, anyone looking for information on the Symlin Pen could easily sort for injection meds and find it there.
