benefits of lemon water

I've known of them for years, and I used to do this often. I just started doing it again yesterday. I think I am going to start drinking warm lemon water in the mornings, before eating breakfast. There are so many benefits they say, of this especially and they say this is even better than lemon juice in cold water. Does anyone else do this and did you really feel results?

I used to always squeeze lemons into bottles of water and loved it. Then my dentist told me it would eat the enamel off my teeth. I stopped doing it for many years but had more dental problems. Now I am back on it, it really is refreshing. I will have to try the warm lemon water in the morning. I always need something good first thing. Thank you.

I just remember as a small girl, not to young, I had a lemonade stand on the corner of
my street and, would sell it..LOL!

I make big batches so I always have water. A little stevia offsets the bitter.

Hi funnygirl; I loved lemonade as a kid but we always drank it with sugar. My husband don't like it and since I don't use sugar very much any more I just fix me some with water. I might sometimes add a little stevia to my glass but I have gotten used to just lemon and water.

thanks everyone. I drank some very warm lemon water this morning but I wanted coffee!! I used to drink cold or lukewarm lemon water often and I did feel better but I'd run out of lemons and not always replaced them often, and so trying to not let that happen again.I am sidetracked by all of the good summer fruits and veggies.

I get side tracked by all the fresh summer fruits and veggies too. I bought a lot of yellow squash, and kale, along with some other veggies and made some squash, and kale veggie soup. YUM, I think I'll grill some too. It goes good with lemon water.

I started drinking a coffee cup of hot lemon water every morning about six months ago. I cut a lemon in half and add to a cup of boiling water. I am convinced it has helped with my weight loss and my digestive system. Some other stated benefits below. I don't know the accuracy of the items listed but I feel better!

actually "feeling results" is not the best way to determine the effectiveness it is your Blood Glucose (BG) meter. That'll tell you what is really going on.

I just started doing it again. I used to all ways order lemon water at restaurants. Yesterday I bought a big sack of lemons and made me a gallon, just filtered water (from my water filter tap) and 2 lemons, squeezed then also the rind cut up and all goes in the pitcher. I had forgot how good it was. As for results I never did it long enough to notice, but I will try to remember to keep you updated.
