As of mon I will be a hospice patient! Im so excited!..Now before you all freak..please keep reading! first Hospice..doesnt mean Im dieing in 6 months..yes that is the rule..but not the hard and fast rule.. nobody thinks Im dieing that soon.. in fact they feelk if i go in now Ill probably klive longer!…they can get me on oxygen NOW! all those cookie cutter rules go out the window. hospice can do alot of good for me…and folks I feel like crap right now.. feel like Im suffocating..plain and simple…they hopefully can help..they say they can. keep praying for my helpers.to be able to get here soon.

That is good news. I am glad you went that route. I know you had your doubts about it.

Good to hear Vi

My MIL ("Jem's" mom) was on home hospice just before she passed and I cannot say enough good things about them. I worked in an institutional hospice facility before my disability and I much prefer the home hospice experience.

God's best to you and yours

Here's to the improvement in care! I'm glad to hear that you will be in a better situation. You sound a lot happier! Hopefully, you get to keep the same aid! It's always tough to lose someone you have become close with.

Hi vrswesley,

Thank you for the update. I have know others in your situation, and becoming part of hospice really made a difference in terms of the care and services that were available to them. So I understand what you mean.

I am hopeful you will get the help you need. Please keep in touch with us.
