I watched this online about two mos ago for the first time…when he cried…I cried…because I knew he didn't mean to be so cold…it was a reflection of what he had been taught in medical school…which is why most of my anger, that thank God didn't last long, after diagnosis was directed at myself…yeah I was angry at the doctor who scared me off of Atkins all those years ago…but I was more angry at myself because I KNEW BETTER…I knew how I felt..I knew I was healthy..but I still abandoned the diet…but my doctor was just telling me what "he knew to be true"…he didn't know any better

I like the way this man thinks. Just recently I was questioning in my own mind why every overweight person is not diabetic, but I am. This really helps. If only more Drs. thought like this instead of just handing out the party line response.

This was the first guy who gave me hope that there was a new understanding of how diabetes worked. He is very good, and I hope you all listen to him.
