Hi Ladies, It was way back that I shared this with all on the sight. I had heard that regular white vinegar would lower your numbers. I stop taking my medicines for three/four months with taking the vinegar only. My numbers were 110,115,125 was the highest I got the whole time. But then, I usually miss up someway. When you use the vinegar you must eat totally proper. I am going to try the brown stuff cause I have big problems with starches. Although I eat lots of veggie. Starch is number one in my house so, I will start my brown rice, noddles etc. Anyone have good food out there to replace my rice and grits? I put 2/3 teaspoons in a little water. Two/three times a day. Either vinegar is good but the apple cider has other benefits.

Try Dreamfields Pasta. It is coated in fiber and it doesn't spike me like rice and noodles do. Even if I eat brown rice or whole wheat noodels I spike. Dreamfields doesn't do that.
Aa a replacement for rice you might want to try Bulgur Wheat. It doesn't even have to be cooked on the stove. You just add boiling water to it and let it sit. I use it in place of rice in a lot of my recipes. And it is great for breakfast too.
I also do okay with steel cut oats for breakfast, 1/2 cup is very filling and very good for you. When I was sick, I tried cream of wheat with an egg in it, and I was surprised that didn't spike me either. But it had to have the egg. Alone, I want it sweet, and that backfires on me. LOL

Last night I tried Dreamfield Pasta even though I first heard of it months ago on DC. It is very tasty, good texture filling and most of all did not spike my bs level. I would certainly recommend this as a subsitute for White carbs. Please note do not overcook. I cooked it 1 min. less than recommended. Best wishes and enjoy. Pete

My mom and I drink distilled vinegar. 1T in a glass of water, and I ususally have lime or lemon juice in my water during the day. It helped my mom a lot. and I have had minimal success with it, but it is better than nothing and it is cheaper than most meds. We drink it with every meal.

Has anyone tried something called Miracle Fruit? I ordered some online recently to see if it would help with drinking Apple cider vinegar. From what I've found by researching it online is that it makes sour and bitter foods/drinks taste sweet for up to 2 hours. I'll let you know when I receive it just how well it works though to be sure.

hello,I just got this book Amazing Diabetes Breakthroughs and it says this about vinager " the acidic juice seems to slow down the digestion of food, evening out blood sugar spikes after a meal.Three teaspoons vinager can lower your blood sugar as much as 30 percent it also says lemon juice will help too just put either in a glass of water and enjoy. We haven't tried it as my daughter is 10 and would not try it… but let me know how it works if you do okay. Be Blessed to be a Blessing!!
