I would like to THANK everyone who commented on my discussion. All your input really has helped me out.my son was never really acctive before but he will be 10 and i want him to be apart of a group.he said he will think about it and maybe one day.Unfortinatly we just found out he is going blind ,so im not going to be pushing anything on him.Ithink for know i will just let him be 9 yrs old and enjoy what he does do.As i say again it is so nice to have other ppl to talk to about this stuff. You all have been wonderfull in your replies.Have a wonderfull day !!!

I am so sorry to hear this. It's obvious he has a great mom and he will shine because of your love. I will keep you, your son and your entire family in my thoughts and prayers. Take care dear, Angie

It is heartbreaking to hear of your son's eyesight loss. Words seem so insignificant at a time like this, but my heart does go out to him and to you and the entire family. I know you must be crushed. Altho it may seem like it, it is not the end of the world. He's so blessed to have such a wonderful mom, and I'm sure other family members and friends are rallying around him as well. You all will be in my prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear that his sight is going… Make sure you spend a lot of time with him seeing the world so he can remember in the future. He might not appreciate it now but he will… I have a good friend that is losing her sight and we talk about what things look like a lot so please do this for him… make the memories now so he can always have them.
