In my opinion, these people are trying to make money off of gullible people who think these so called MD's have a cure. I have no idea why I wasted clicking on the link.

Just my opinion but …
medical "professionals" such as Dr's Brownstein and Mercola who use the esteem that we (for some reason) hold people that have an MD after their name to sell their own brand of scientifically unproven homeopathic "miracle cures" to a population of people desperate to save their lives is akin to snake oil salesman of old.

I totally agree with you. The same snake oil salesman will take off his lab coat and try to sell you ocean front property in Iowa.

I do not buy from them. I get the free info and apply it!

How does one apply info which is not there? Yes the article (I cancelled the video — way too long) and read the verbatim of the soundtrack, but how much of the Vitamins mentioned in the verbatim, and also the suppliments should one take to equal the formula in the product.

Actually what this product is happens to be an inducement to get you to purchase Brownstein's newsletter. I haven't seen Brownstein's newsletter, but have purchased something like it and it was basicly a "Newsletter" full of advertisements for suppliments. I stopped the subscription after a while since I didn't like paying money to get more adversisements. I wouldn't be very surprised if Brownstein's letter was very much like that as well.

James, I checked him out. According to him just about everything is a fraud or fake unless you use his products. Why anyone would share that junk is beyond my realm of thinking.

I found his newsletters on Newsmax.com for free.

I never watch these videos. When you click it out, it lets you see the text and I scan it for info, not for advertisements.

If you never watch the videos, why are you pawning them off on us?. Newsmax is basically what is referred to as a rag in the news industry and I wouldn't trust anything written on the site.

From what I have seen of Dr, Brownstein he appears to promote himself, his questionable products and the reviews of his products seem to say basically the same thing from a prepared script.

I read the story and even though I knew MTM had T1D, I hadn't been aware that her situation was that bad. Truly sorry to hear that!

Too bad… Was not she taking care of her BGL?
Is it possible to avoid these horrible things at all?

Diabetes is a progressive disease.

Some folks with T1 live long and relatively healthy lives, (Richard157, a member here is an example) others may do most everything right and still get hammered by it.

MTM seems to be one of those who gets hammered for some reason. She had awareness of her disease (remembering public service announcements she did on diabetes) and I would expect that she had top-notch medical care available.

I do remember the article mentioning the "benigh tumor of the lining tissue of her brain" so could that be a factor?

As far as being possible to avoid horrible things, two of the most horrible things (and most everyone agrees) is death and taxes. I so far have been able to avoid death, but expect it will catch up to me everntually (but want to put it off for as long as possible). and of course I haven't escaped the taxman. So bad things eventually happen, and not much one can do about them, except try to postpone them.
