my goal is to get my A1c to 5.6 or less. Previous labs had it at 5.9. Last weeks labs came back at 5.8. not quite there yet but heading the right way.

Awesome Haloeboy! Any improvement is something to be proud of. Even staying the same and not losing ground is good. So congrats! Only a few more baby steps to go, and you are on your way.

The lower it gets the harder it is to get it down. So any improvement is a great feat.

I agree Gabby; Just like losing weight, I thought wow when I got down to 130 lbs. But now I just bounce back and forth from 128 to 130. I know if I can just get past that brick wall it will start dropping again. My weight needs to be around 110 for my height. My cholesterol is finally getting better, I am looking forward to being able to get my dosage of chol. meds. lowered. I appreciate any improvement too.

thanks James.
More significant were my cholesterol numbers … I stopped pravastatin 3 months ago … latest results … LDL 81, triglycerides 46
oh … and I lost 7 more pounds (gotta stop that)
