Ok, it's off the routine subject, but I know there are quite a few music lovers amongst us! If you are a youthful older member, or simply like oldies, then check this out. It brought back many memories for me. If you can go back far enough in time, I'm sure it will do the same for you. So, take a break, forget about diabetes for a moment, and give it a try!

This is a great site. Takes me way on back! I love it. Thank you.

I thought it was impressive also! Definitely took me back to some amazing memories. Interesting to see those artists in their prime. Those were the good old days! Of course I'm excluding the ones that go back before my time!

Jigsaw. Thanks for putting me in the Time Machine. I have a lot of music but I love listening to what I don't have. Was disappointed Funeral March of a Marionette was not on there.

Just Joyce, I'm glad you've taken a trip back in time with me. Maybe in another 20 or 30 years from now, when I get old, I'll lose interest. Meanwhile, I'll relish the company of a #1 lady, and enjoy some history!

Whoa! started watching this link 4hrs ago music memories from age 4 to 24ish and that led to me finding a link to the film Tammy starring Doris Day, I was 13 when this hit the big screen saw it more times than I could remember all I could was the title song just love it.
Thanks hun it has given me so many memories dear to my heart, some that I had even tucked away I have cried so many mixed emotional tears but it feels good.
As for the old juke box my hubbies dream is to own a real one (he has a small replica looking one that is a radio in disguise) maybe one day we will win on the lottery and be able to afford one just have to go on thinking positively.
As it's now almost 3am in the morning I had better go to bed or I will pass myself getting up so will say Goodnight God Bless.

I was beginning to worry! Thought I was the only one here that made it out of my teens and 20s. Actually, some of the music here is before my time, and much of it is from my days of elementary school. Bottom line, it definitely evokes some powerful memories, that I enjoy immensely. Besides, I'm not really that old. How do I know? It's simple, I can stil remember back then.

Did you really want to move out of your teens and 20's? must admit my mind is suck at 39 feel that's a good age for me old enough to be a woman of the world yet young enough to enjoy it (my reasoning anyway…lol)

39? Yes, that was a very good age, now that you mentioned it. It can be amazing, when you reminisce, and realize how much has taken place, and so rapidly! Kind of blows the mind, doesn't it?

I loved the Tammy movies. Peter Fonda was a dreamboat in Tammy and the Doctor. Just looked on Amazon think I will order the 3 movie CD. I have the Gidget collection and most of the Shirley Temple collection.

Didn't see that one JJ what year was that one plz? I left my great aunts in Buckinghamshire where I was born and had to go back to my parents that had moved to my dads county of Somerset deep in the rural countryside no cinemas near lost contact with what was showing, think we moved half a dozen times before I went to cinema again as the next one I saw was Kid Galahad with Elvis remember walking 4 miles in the snow as the bus had stopped running but we didn't think anything of it, can't remember the year those were the days wish I could walk around the block now.
stay safe x

Glad you enjoy it! For me, it's like a time machine, it brings me as far back in time as my pre-teens. Many enjoyable, and some sad memories. Life moves on, and it's mostly good!
