Hey friends, depending on the seriousness of your t1 or t2 diagnose
you may feel overwhelmed..
How low can you get your test strips?
What's the best brands with the most
test strips included ?
The medicines? The lowest price/highest
Your new menu plans?
Your new grocery budget now?
What foods should you get to help
lower your blood sugar?
Is insulin pill or liquid right for you?
What about weight gain?
How will you feel after take your
insulin or pill?
And possibly other questions that aren't
on this list??
You may have other types of issues
that may affect what med.s you maybe
have to use for your t1 or t2??

Google your test strips for the lowest
Discuss this with your folks and ur dr.?
And the fact that you may be feeling

Different types of calming technics may
help?? Calming foods and beverages?
Create cool down hobbies?
Create a tranquility group in your community/..? Your family and/ or friends
aren't helping you? All you feel like doing is crying?

Good luck…

Yes, D1 and D2 are a challenge in everyday life, but you can love it. Self regulation via CGMs with you monitoring every 30 minutes, you can more immediately stop the increase or decrease in blood sugars, mg/dl. No whining allowed. It's permanent for now and with a committed discipline, you control the diabetes vs the diabetes control you with it's known consequences. BTW, Avid believer if no CGM, you must poke 10X/day mn

Yes..Yes Yess…I was severely depressed when 1st diagnosed because I could not control my sugar levels. It took me almost 3 1/2 years to finally be determined enough and tired of the depression to get it right…It can be done. I do think that depression comes with diabetes.

I had never been depressed before being diagnosed with T2D..It was so frustrating trying to control my sugar and..Yes..It did cause depression. Although I never took meds for depression ..I prayed my way thru and with the help of family and friends.. I made my way back to healthy and happy!

Howdy Queen

Wow! Slow down!

Too many questions on too many topics all at once!

It seems to me perhaps you might be a Bipolar person on a Manic tear!

I can handle a lot of subjects but that list would require me to write a book! LoL! The last book I wrote was my masters' thesis.

Are there one or two of those subjects you'd really like to discuss?

Please name them

God's best

Just because you've not been Dx'd by mental health workers does NOT mean you don't have it.

My late wife's bestest friend since grade school had BiPolia and if she was having a manic tear she exhibited the same behaviors you exhibit. When she took her meds it was better for her. I still keep in touch with Char to see how she's doing. I also have known BiPolars as acquaintences who have exhibited the same behaviors as you have been. So JUST BECAUSE you've not been officially Dx'd does not mean you are not affected.

May I suggest you talk with your Dr about being evaluated for BiPolar Disorder. Those around you may thank you for doing so!

I really don't get what you are talking about. It makes no sense. You have to pick one or two topics. What you posted won't help me at all.

i know you are trying to help but please list one of two subjects you'd like to discuss. My ADHD goes crazy trying to make sense of it all!.

I agree James. What she posted makes no sense to me. I have no idea what she is talking about and some of her solutions are off base.
