I was taught by a dietician that 1 carb is equal to 15 grams. so I do the math when putting my food together. I now read labels all the time for the Total carbohydrate that is on the labels.( this includes everything that is listed on the label.) I try my best to follow this rule. I have also found you can have 2 slices of Weight Watchers bread - which is equal to 1 slice of regular bread.. I know bread is bad for you, but I have to have it with my eggs in the morning ;-) I also have used spaghetti squash instead of regular spaghetti,

never understood that whole carb choice / gram thing.
seems to me it complicates matters.
