I didn't know I needed one but it's good to see if I am doing better or know what to improve on.

How did all of your diabetes physical exams go? And what did they entail? I already looked it up but some could be different

I get an Annual Exam from my Primary Dr every year. He does the full works, lab, EKG, Bone density and Mammogram, Chest Xray, etc.
Then there is Podiatrist, Pulmonologist and Dentist every 3 months. Cardiologist every 6 months. And because I've survived Cancer twice, I also see the Oncologist every year for a check up as well. Of course there is the Endocrinologist appts as well.
It sounds like a lot but to stay healthy with diabetes requires some serious attention to our health and is well worth it.
Hope the info helps.

I alternate between my endo and primary, approximately every 3 or 4 months. They do a lipid panel, plus A1c, current bg, occasionally PSA, check my feet, heart, ears, and eyes. Bottom line, I'm still kicken, and I feel good. Recently, I started seeing my primary quarterly, and my endo, once a year, or if it's warranted.

Mine were fairly straight forward. My weight and blood pressure were taken. Then a sample of blood was taken for my A1C. My doctor listened to my breathing checked my reflexes, took a urine sample, asked me a lot of questions including what and how much I exercised and then I had a blood test. He also suggested I see a diabetes counselor and for that I was very grateful. I now go every 3 months mainly to have my A1C checked

With my diabetes I am required to pass a physical every year to maintain my CDL. With that and the lab tests for our A1C's…so far, so good.
