I will go through a spell where it happens to me for about a week. I just can't stay awake. Then I will go for a week that I can't sleep. I am going to an endo. next month. I hope to get some answers to a lot of questions. I can hardly wait.

We'll I've been havin this sleepy spell for months. My doc sent me to the endo doc; he says that my low vitamin D level could also contribute to being sleepy. I also will have to start using the fast acting insulin. Hip Hip Horay

I hope the new insulin helps. I don't use insulin, maybe my endo appt next month will reveal something. It will be my first endo appt. since we don't have one in my town in my ins. network, I have to go to the next town/state over. So it was hard to get an appt. because everyone in this part of these 2 states go there.

I was reminded from another post and the interactive tutorial @ that for me with Type 1, the tiredness is a sign of too much sugar. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond

I get that way too if I eat a meal that doesn't give me a lot of carbs. I usually eat a banana or a granola bar after to even it out
