This is a documentary film that will be out tomorrow (May 9, 2014). It's about the hidden and not so hidden sugar in our foods that cause our addiction to sugar from a young age. You can watch the trailer here: http://fedupmovie.com/?utm_source=Reboot+Your...
I will have to see if it's playing anywhere near me. I could not get the "theaters" on the home page give me any info. (I do live in the sticks after all)

Yea, Katie was talking about her video on her prior news talk show yesterday morning I believe.
Ha… Way to go. Maybe she will get somewhere with this eating disorder possibly 90% of American/.. are at a huge health risk. And the dangerous part is some people aren't chubby or etc and they have high blood pressure and high cholesterol possibly
a dangerous d2. And know it. Fed up pretty much covers a huge range of concerns from quantity of sugar in our meals we eat like prepackaged foods,.
Ice cream, candy bars, boxed potatos,
cottage cheese, yogurt, milk, just a name of few. Then we add more sugar to sugar filled cereals which is already loaded with sugar already. :(. Then it's the high amounts of salt we crave. Not enough physical activity walking, jogging,.. kids r out of control in lbs,…
Schools needs to be more proactive in my opinion.

Suddenly I cannot comment. This has happened before and for a long time I couldn't even find Diabetic Connect because of Arriva .

definitely going to watch this. My parents way back when I was little, had lots of sugary snacks in the house, we were encouraged to eat fruit, but had also too much of the other kinds of snacks and we had lots of orange juice! Back then though, there was hardly any talk about sugar being bad. I so wish that I had not become addicted at such a young age. I do the best I can, but I still sometimes fight bad cravings and I do still get too much sugar in my diet, though I have come a really long way. Always trying to improve. Thanks for sharing!!

I am really getting sick and tired of all the crap there is out there. Everyday there is a new diet, concept or advise that is controversial. I just want to eat right and not buy into all the stuff. What to eat, not what to eat! I am just going to what works for me and try to ignore all the hype. It is totally messing with my psyche and causing undue stress. Does anyone else feel that way?

GabbyPA 2014-05-09 08:49:35 -0500 Report

In a way yes. But I believe that we should eat as close to the earth as possible, and much of this other stuff could be avoided. It's hard to do now a days, and we take the easy way out. We are paying for it now. Besides. learning is power.

You should really go to another country and compare the foods available on grocery store shelves. Look at those ingredient lists. See how many products have added sugar. Notice the lack of "no sugar added" alternatives.

Gabby, that is a superb trailer! The point concerning sugar, cannot be stressed enough. In anything but minute quantities, it is white death, and a free ticket to stressing the daylight out of a healthy pancreas!!!

The issue may lie in the website Gabby … even on a 50+ Mbps connection it is extremely slow to load.
Good stuff though … apparently we are on many of the same mailing lists …

I got this through Joe Cross...he is known for the movie "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and his juicing.
