According to SweetLife Diabetes Health Centers, LLC and Dr. Brian C. Mowll - sponsors of the Diabetes Summit 2014:
"Chromium Polynicotinate - Chromium improves insulin sensitivity, reduces insulin resistance, and improves glucose uptake. Dozens of studies have shown the benefits of chromium on blood sugar and diabetes.
Recommended dose: up to 1,000 mcg per day"

Howdy Jerry

I have not used whole food chromium. I did use a cinnamon and chromium picolanate capsule to try and determine if it worked for me. It did not.

Looking it up I see it is promoted as a suppliment. Is that what your buddy takes or am I missing the meaning?

I did find this fascinating piece on chromium in food from Whole Foods here ~ http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutr...

God's best to you and yours
