I did a little surfing today on the web, not a luxury I get to do very often. I cam across an interesting site called Diabetes Advocates and who did I see there but our own Amy Tendrich of Diabetes Mine and Richard Vaughn. Along with several other folks that I have grown familiar with over the years. It's an interesting site of people with diabetes who are movers and shakers and getting some things done out there.
Here is the link to the site. http://diabetesadvocates.org/ You may remember the Diabetes Hands where we all shared our single word associated with our diabetes written on our hands. http://www.diabeticconnect.com/photos/2928 You can sign up to get alerts of things they are doing so you can participate if you want.
Advocating is more than just a single day event. Here, we can participate as much as we want and get the word out there.
