Ok, I've been type 1 for 13 years now. I have an insulin pump, I had a sensor also but it stopped working. I desperately need to get my blood sugars under control. I am a single mother of two beautiful girls. I have a 14 year old and a 4 year old. They mean the world to me! I have recently went to through a divorce after almost 15 years of marriage. I had been self employed at home doing childcare and then lost my insurance through the divorce. Now I work a customer service rep job at a call center my schedule is 3:30pm to 12:30am. Which is very stressful! I am having a very hard time with sugars, weight gain, and depression from not being home with my kids now. And just the everyday stress of getting them where they need to be and back home while I am at work. I guess I just need someone in the same boat/shoes as me to understand what it's like and just be my motivator in taking better care of myself. I would really love to have someone to talk to about all of this and support me…

Sorry you qualify for this shindig, but since you do, I'm glad you're here.

You have come to the right place for support and encouragement as many people here have stories like your own in their past. I have a lot of things in my past I could share also when appropriate.

What you write breaks my heart.

I pray for your situation to change for the better soon..
