Does anyone know of a recipe calculator that will let you enter a recipe and the number of servings and it will give you the nutritional information per serving?

I believe allrecipes.com does that.

I went there, Jared, and couldn't find anything like that. You could search by ingredient, and severa other parameters. but as far as what wraith suggested as giving nutritional info per serving I was unable to find it.

Wraithmb, the Spark People calculator that Jayabee recommended is the tool that we use to calculate nutritional facts for recipes submitted by our members. We have found that it is the most accurate free tool out there for calculating nutritional information.

Everything is on the internet ;)
my son writes/programs aps for mobile devices and I am going to see if he would be interested in writing something like as a stand alone mobile ap. might be a whole new market for him in health aps … hmm.

I'd buy for sure… Would be a great addition to any diabetic's phone or tablet. If he does sign me up for beta testing!

When I was first diagnosed, I looked at the nutritional value of each ingredient and got my sister to figure out the serving (I am useless when it comes to math). I found that to be too tedious but I kept a record. Now that I am in control, I don't worry about that at home because I can control the portion. I can't do that at restaurants.

Howdy Wraith,
The closest I can come to what I think you want might be sparkpeople.com ~ http://www.sparkpeople.com/landing_free_plus2.... You'll need to sign up with them to use their site, but the site is free to use. I had signed up long ago and still get emails from them every so often, but haven't used the site in quite a while.

Please let me know if this site is that for which you are looking.

No, I don't. But if you find one let me know. I would love to have one, that would really be great.

I've been searching for some time, and I have found nothing of the sort. I'm actually considering trying to make one myself. Of course I would need an ingredient reference to be able to do it, but I'm sure you could set up a spreadsheet to do it in excel… Does anyone have any advice on this or an interest in it?
