I have neropathy worse on one side more than other. I had polio when I was 18 months old. It affected my left foot and leg. So I used the right leg to stand and walk, carring the little one along. So I thought the right one is worn out from double duty and that is why the neropathy is worse for my right leg and foot.

JoAnne, I had neuropathy surgery on both of my legs and feet, I am doing so well. I thank the good Lord every day for the chance he gave me to have this surgery, yes it took time to heal but it has been worth all of it. My feet and legs don't hurt any more and I could hardly walk at all, and my restless leg syndrome is gone also. I also message feet on a messager while I am at the computer working. Just some info…ND

You are the first I have heard that had surgery for it on leg/feet, what/where do they do the surgery? Sheila That's great though that it worked.

I don't have neuropathy but I feel for those that do. I know a lot of the members suffer with this too. I'm sure several people can share their experiences with you. I wish you all the best! Welcome again to the site Maryka! Take care, Angie

i have been thinking about that lately because i am having some of the same problems. now here is the thought, perhaps we used that side more in our lives, or even at some point injured ourselves. we might remember doing it,or putting it in some sort of repetive movement, which over time has heighten the damage in that area. just some of my thoughts.
