I used to buy the socks at Walmart, they were ok. My doctor suggested I use Jobst brand. I made the switch and thank god I did. You can immedietly feel the difference in quality. I used to buy them at a medical supply store, I now buy them online…the best price I have found so far is at They have all sizes and styles too.

Take a look at the Doctor Specified brand of socks. They have a great selection of diabetic socks at a reasonable price. Definately NO COTTON! They are seamless at the toe and keep your feet dry because of the special material. Real diabetic socks are nothing like the ones at Walmart according to my foot guy.

It feels so much more comfortable to wear them. I use Doctor's Choice diabetic socks from Soyad.

I wear diabetic socks all the time, and I get them at Wal-Mart, the only time I don't wear them is when I wear my boots, then, I wear support hose with them.

I should have said that I sleep in socks also, because I don't like going barefoot, even to the bathroom at night, and because my feet get cold,
I also found some comfortable knit slippers at WW that have the nubbies on the botton, because I have a tendency to fall, but now that I have my eyes fixed, that doesn't happen as much as it was,
Since I live alone, my back door neighbor, helps me find things that are easy and comfortable to wear.

I wear diabetic socks because they are comfortable, keep my feet nice and warm and my feet don't seem to swell up when I wear them. Been wearing them for a couple of years now and I love them

I have one pair of diabetic socks and I hate them.. they are lose on my feet and have no elastic in the tops to hold them up. I know that's the point of them so they don't bother circulation or bind in anyway and no seams to not rub on your feet but I personally don't like them I just bought one pair because I was curious to see what the difference was.
I feel like a 6 yr old with my socks falling down all the time LOL :) maybe they come in sizes and mine are just too big WHO KNOWS? I don't.

I have a couple of pair,They are seamless so don't irratate your feet they are very light weight, and keep your ft. warm. I have diabetic neuropathy in my feet and legs and they help with that too.Try them, for all the stupid things we have done to our feet over the years, they are a treat

my mom wears them all the time now as she says they keep her feet warmer and don't pinch her legs. I am going to try some at pay day.

i don't have any, but been studying getting some. as i understand it they have no seams in them, so that is suppose to keep your feet from getting unnoticed wounds. also they are supposed to keep your feet dryer than cotton socks.
