It's hard for me to get out at all this time of year. To bring me up I enjoy a good commedy from time to time and wandering if anyone has seen one they would like to share. some of the best ones I saw are "What About Bob", "Anger Management", "Meet the Parents", "Meet the Fockers", "Gone Fish'n", "Who's Harry Crumb", "Head East", "Big Momma's House"

I do love British comedy, and I've found a wonderful family type claymation series, some of you might know the main characters, Wallace and Grommit! I have all three of their movies, but the best one I think is A Close Shave!

Although off color for some, nothing makes me laugh as hard as Monty Pythons, Holy Grail.

I'm glad you posted this! I go to bed EVERY night and watch an hour of King of Queens, then an hour of The Andy Griffith Show, Then Everybody Loves Raymond. (That's about as long as I can stay awake!) LOL I lay in bed and laugh and it helps better than any pill I could ever take. I'm not much into movies, because I'm too hyper to sit that long! Good classic TV shows do me a world of good. Take care friend, Angie

My new favorite is Mamma Mia! We laughed all the way thru. It was fantastic. Other ones I enjoy are "Young Frankinstein", "Mrs. Doubtfire", "Liar, Liar" and "Bruce Almighty"
If you get ABC Family, "Whose Line is it Anyway?" is adult, but hysterical. I have never laughed so much. I love Wayne Brady and Collin. They are so funny.

I love all the great funny movies too - even those that are from waaaaay back. But I also like to watch what I call the "mindless sitcoms", especially after a hard day at work. I know some who have this attitude that those are silly and ridiculous and not worth wasting time on, but there are times when I just need something silly and ridiculous to give me a lift.

I never tire of the old shows like "I Love Lucy", "Sanford & Sons", LaVerne & Shirley, etc., in addition to the newer ones. I also love the "funniest videos" shows, altho it seems to me people should have been seriously injured or killed in some of those clips!

As all of us seem to agree on this site, there's just nothing like a good belly laugh to life the spirits and give us a little reprieve from the "real world".

I agree wholeheartedly. And if you would like to know the ones I found funniest, write me and I will send you my list. Also, I have joined a laughter club (laughter yoga) that is fun and you laught a LOT. They are all over so you may be able to find one near you.

I agree with this totally and I sure do love that same movie you mentioned called, "Meet the Parents." It is sure to be a classic.

When I am down, I always tune in to a NEW or REPEAT of any episode of the TV show "America's Funniest Home Videos." That show has always cracked me up. I never watch an episode that doesn't have something in it that makes me laugh out loud. I always keep a copy of one of the shows ready on my DVR for my down times.

I agree, this is a great way to relieve stress. I got Fred Claus for Christmas and will probably watch it this weekend. I like romantic comedies such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Wedding Crashers, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Big and While You Were Sleeping. Lisa
