Hello Everyone!!!! :)

With so many of us in this "Wonderful" Community, we have so many different topics, helpful hints, support, yes even those of you who work hard finding ways for us to get things for free (ya just gotta love it)- That I thought.. well I really wanted to start a discussion that would ONLY include something joyful. I know that I can come to this site & so many people that will come together to get a person through the hardest of times. And there are those times that with the responses and heartfelt stories, you cry right along w/ that person(s). Hopefully this doesn't sound tacky or too off the wall… but here it goes:

I am looking forward to a New Year. Planning & spending time with my family & friends. And yes, right now I'm praying that we "will" get snow & lots of it:) Another year closer to a cure, a new medicine, something that would help us in anyway. Waiting for the joy of birth (my next door neighbor is expecting their first child any day now). Dec 09 when my nephew gets to come home from Iraq. The hope of having even 1 day that I won't have any pain.

Ok everyone… TAG… Your IT!!!

What about you? If you can't think of anything right off hand, what about something that someone did that just made you feel beyond happy? How did your spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend propose to you? Stories of your family, friends, dogs, cats, and don't forget those goldfish. Teacher, student, busdriver, doctor, nurse, Preacher.. I just know there are some beautiful things out there. Please take a few minutes to share yours :)

Always,
Babs

Thank you to those who replied to this. It really means a lot to read this wonderful stories and messages. Though this may sound tacky, but it makes me feel like I know some of you better, and it's nice to feel close to or like you have someting more in common w/ someone for the good.

Please keep them coming.

I know what you mean. That is why I am here. It is how I deal with my diabetes. I have to feel like I can relate to people and bounce ideas of people. I have made great friends.

We had a "no presents" Christmas. It was wonderful. No little ones, but my niece & her husband came from St Louis, my nephew from so. Calif. My sister had just survived breast cancer surgery. It was one of the best holidays ever (see pics).

PS: I love Ghosthunters!!!

My prayers will be with you & your family that you will beable to move to be closer to your family. My kids have been blessed w/ having both sets of Grandparents & even Great Grandparents close enough that they could spend time together. It's so important for everyone to have a chance to do that.

I also know that your daughter-in-law, & her family will be estatic to have you there to help.

Always,
Babs

The best moves are when you "want" to move. Just think of the beautiful "sunshine", that will put a smile on anyone's face. :)

Our family wants to move to Nevada. It will be in another 3-4 yrs (after my daughter graduates from high school). The weather will be a much needed Blessing for my fibro/myofascial.

I live in Las Vegas and I LOVE it here. I had bad allergy and breathing problems back in Michigan. Since I moved here, I don't have those issues. It gets a bit hot in July and August, but if you can deal with 112-116 temps for 2 months, the rest of the year is like paradise. It is sunny and beautiful here today. Lisa

Ok - I want to move "now" (lol). I've been told that it can get really hot there, but that the humidity is so different from here. I'm so - so looking forward to moving in a few years.

I'm looking forward to:

*hoping that all my friend's health problems decrease instead of increase.

*bettering my health through exercise and being careful with my sugar intake.

*a fun as-yet-to-be-determined vacation in the summer!

*finding new ways to save money!

*entertaining at home more often.

*redecorating the house some with paint, furniture, and accessories.

*doing better with my finances and cooking more menu planning and less waste.

*going ghost hunting.

This is one of the things I do once or twice a month. Actually, I am what is called a Paranormal Investigator. I am part of a team that people call to supposedly "haunted" places to find out what is causing things to go bump in the night.

OMG you got my dream job. I even watch taps. I wanna go. I also am looking forward to improving my health and fitness. And lots and lots of summer and spring fun. Speaking of snow we got 2 1/2 inches today. That is a big deal in the south. My husband had fun with it. We took out the car to see how many people couldn't drive in it. Turns out their is a lots. Then he went snowboarding seeing that we live in the mountains. But I can't wait for our new spring, when the earth puts on her magical show.

Hi Again!

Matter of fact, I am going on an investigation with Barry Fitzgerald from Ghost Hunters International on February 28th. We are investigating an old Inn in the mountains of NC.

I live near North Carolina. On the NC Tenn border. How exciting. Wish I could go. It would be incredible. I watch that show all the time. I love it. Especially when they have the halloween marathons.

WOW!! A lot to look forward to, which is great. But "wow" (again") - can you believe just how many "kindered"(the good kind) spirits that we all have in common?

Please keep us updated on how things go. This sounds so cool.

My Christmas gift from my children was a
joyous thing. Since my granddaughter is
graduating college in April (BYU) I really wanted to be there for her. I also have a son who lives in California who I don't get to see very often because it's expensive to fly there and
I no longer travel well for long distances. My Christmas gift was an
airline ticket, first to Utah for the
graduation (my daughter will fly with me), then to California (Sacramento area)
with my son and daughter-in-law, where I will spend a week with them and then return to Florida. It's a dream come true and something I wasn't sure I'd be
able to do because of the expense.

So I'm really looking forward to the future and my wonderful gift.
