Hi Angela,
I have been here about a month now and am learning so much.
The people here are the greatest, nicest most loving, helpful group you could ever meet. I keep pinching myself to make sure it's not just a dream.
To see how many people with diabetes (as well as other medical problems) go on day after day dealing with it and having the most wonderful senses of humour—it just makes me lol. Everyone here is so smart too. There is always someone with an answer for you, or at least where to go to get the answer.
After 1 month I feel like I'm in a home away from home…this home understands me more though.
So, once again very happy to have you here. I hope you enjoy it here.
Pam

Angela, welcome. That is great that you're wanting to learn more to be a support to your grandparents. Knowledge is power--especially in the case of type 2 diabetes.

If your grandpa can learn to control his blood sugars, he can stay healthy much, much longer. Feel free to ask questions about anything diabetes related. I think you'll find this a very supportive group.

Best of luck in everything.
