Actually, this is a message to bring awareness to all that we have been missing quite a few friends who were regular posters, lately.

I just went through my friends list and realized out of over the last 6 months I have accumaleted a lot of friends; through their requests as well as my own.

However; I have noticed that in the proportion of friends I have on this site; I have only seen about 1/4 of them being active.

Wondering where all these friends are and if they are ok.

Please join me in going through your friends lists, and messaging the ones you feel may have been missing lately, to make them aware that we are concerned.

Please, only those who have not been active for a month or so, and you may have reason to be concerned about them. Take a few minutes to notify them and tell them that they are missed.

Thankyou Friends;
Claudia

I try to visit often, 2 kids, one a problem child, my work, my housekeeping,
my doctors appointments for my surgery on the 26th might keep me away for a while, but I always look forward to returning.

Good Morning, actually Edie and I talked about this last week I think, and we sent john this and asked if he would like to address this. His reply was that if people don,t ask to be removed from our sight for one reason or another there is little can be done. Charish had to leave and she posted to that affect. But, she also left her web sight just in case someone wanted to talk to her. Your point is well taken. We get so many friends that we can hardly keep up.

Thanks everyone for the care and concern you are showing. And just to be clear about the comment I made last week to Edie. I believe the question came up about removing friends who don't seem to come around anymore. That was the concern I was addressing when I said that different members have different needs. For some, Diabetic Connect has become a part of their daily routine to find support and information. For others, they may visit a couple times a week. And others, once a month may be all they need.

We did look at all our visits to the site and determined that the majority of our members have been active on the site within the last 30 days. So that helped me to see that even though you may not see someone posting on the discussions or sharing recipes, most of our members do come and enjoy the site as it best suits them.

But certainly, I think reaching out and showing care and concern for friends is a great thing. And everyone who wants to participate in an effort like that is absolutely welcome.

What a great idea Claudia. I've been here less than a month so I really can't be of any great help, but you have hit upon a great idea.

Actually, I have done this before, and this time someone has contacted me to see if I have heard from certain People lately, and I started. So, I decided to ask for everyone to help relocate our friends and see if they are alright, and what they have been up to.
